Hallsbrook is a one-person growth practice run by Alton Phillips in New York. This page covers two things, and the second matters more: what this website collects, and how I handle a client's data.

What this website collects

Nothing that identifies you. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It sets no cookies, doesn't fingerprint your browser and doesn't follow you to other sites. There are no advertising pixels, no contact form, no newsletter and no login. Cloudflare, which serves the site, also keeps standard request logs for security and performance. If you email me, I have your email.

How client data is handled

Read-only, always. Access to your store, ad accounts, analytics or email platform is granted read-only. Nothing I do can change a campaign, an order or a customer record.

Granted and revoked by you. Wherever the platform supports it, access comes through a link or partner relationship you approve from inside your own account, and you can withdraw it the same way at any time.

The audit takes no customer personal data. It needs order values, dates, channels and products. It doesn't need names, email addresses or shipping addresses, so those are excluded at the query rather than deleted afterward. Audit data is deleted within 30 days unless an engagement begins.

An engagement runs in your accounts. The warehouse and everything built on it live in your own cloud account, under your control. Where lifecycle work needs customer identifiers, they're hashed, and that's agreed in writing first.

Never combined, never sold. Your data is used only to produce analysis for you. It isn't pooled across clients, used to benchmark one against another, sold or shared.

Where a signed agreement is in place, its data-protection terms govern the engagement. This page describes the practice; the contract is what binds it.

Who else touches data

Cloudflare serves this website and provides its visit counts. Google provides email and, where a client chooses it, the cloud infrastructure that analysis runs on. Each acts on my instructions as a service provider.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and I'll do it. If you're somewhere with specific rights over your personal data, such as the UK, the EU or California, those rights apply here without your needing to cite them.

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to alton@hallsbrookpartners.com.
